Ok, so far ive managed to get partitionwizard to boot up the PC and to change D drive back to NTFS, however, i still cant access it from the desktop. Make sure you get the right one, hopefully you will see it listed as PqRPĬlick once in that box to select it and then click the button "Set Type".Ĭlose ptedit, remove the CD and restart your system buy holding down the CTRL and ALT bottons while pressing Delete. The boxes on the very left is the file type, the second one down where I circled should be your second partition. One of the last lines will show what drive letter the CD-Rom drive was assigned make a note of that letter. When DOS loads you will get a warning about not being able to identify the file system.
